Team Game Feedback

There has been some excellent feedback so far from the team game competitors. Lord Diamond was the first to recognize that after declaring two allies, there was no reason not to declare the rest of the players your enemy. This would hide who your intended target might be, and at the same time protect your kingdom from being attacked by another. We have implemented a two enemies per player limit, and shall see how that new rule effects the game.

We limit the number of enemies that can be delcared to introduce more challenge for players.

When you declare an enemy, you impose penalties against that enemy. If you do not limit the number of enemy declarations, once a player has chosen his allies, it would make sense to declare the rest of the realm his enemy, wether he choses to attack them or not. The limit forces the player to make a difficult choice - do I leave the Huns and Thuringians declared enemies when I've just been attacked by the Lombards? That choice will make the declarations part of the game more interesting.
